The xerces crash is still not fixed either: Boy this starts to get boring...

# rpm -q dell-system-update
dell-system-update-1.1-15.09.00.x86_64
# echo $LANG

# dsu
terminate called after throwing an instance of
'xercesc_3_1::TranscodingException'
Aborted

# export LANG=en_US.UTF-8
# dsu

Usage: dsu [OPTION]...
        Options:
        -h, --help Help
        -i, --inventory Perform Inventory
        -n, --non-interactive Non Interactive Mode
        -t, --category-values Get Category Values
-g, --get=VALUE Get Applicable Updates For
VALUE Category
# dsu

Usage: dsu [OPTION]...
        Options:
        -h, --help Help
        -i, --inventory Perform Inventory
        -n, --non-interactive Non Interactive Mode
        -t, --category-values Get Category Values
-g, --get=VALUE Get Applicable Updates For
VALUE Category
# dsu
Getting System Inventory...
^C

Also, notice how the first invocation of "dsu" without any option
erroneously just displaythe usage information instead of running in
interactive mode?

And the libs are still installed in /usr/local:

# rpm -ql dell-system-update
/usr/local/lib/dsulib/libdcmkit.so
/usr/local/lib/dsulib/libdsmbase.so
/usr/local/lib/dsulib/libdsmxml.so
/usr/local/lib/dsulib/libxerces-c-3.1.so
/usr/sbin/dsu

It's been at least 3 versions that those problems have been reported.
It really feels like we've all been writing to /dev/null...

Cheers,
