I was looking around the posibility to build a HW inventory of my linux servers and the available updates for them (ie. X component has version A1 , A2 is available). I've found that the invcol binary can send its output to an xml file , but only about the current firmware version (doesn't check the available updates).
Do you have any way to build that report directly from dsu or one of its internal tools? I guess I can always do it myself with a small script, but it would be nice to know if the tool has that capability.
