Hi Deller's,
I'm hoping to get our switch stacks resilient to a single switch
failure, we currently have this:-
Key:
---- = fibre
+++ = stacking
""""" = cat5
[??? ] = switch
Internet Internet
" "
" "
[xa ] ------xfp 10g ---- [ yi ]
[ 6248 ] ------1g --------- [ 6248 ]
+ " + "
+ " + "
+ " + "
[6248 " ] [6248 " ]
" " " "
" " " "
[xg " " ] [yh " " ]
[6248 " ] [6248 " ]
+ " + "
+ " + "
[6248 ] [6248 ]
So the proposed change is to add another 10g link between xg and yh
At the moment the spanning tree config is:-
xa
spanning-tree mode mstp
spanning-tree mst configuration
name "00-1E-C9-97-29-4B"
xg
spanning-tree mode mstp
yi
spanning-tree mode mstp
spanning-tree mst configuration
name "00-1E-C9-97-2A-77"
yf
spanning-tree mode mstp
g.
