If you are competent to run Mission Crit / HA systems on a commodity chassis, then by definition, your resource checkbook included a realistic allocation for mech/tronics - qualification, selection and customization of BOM elements including PS+MB+BIOS, etc.

Yes, but first the machine has to start by itself after a power outage.

Most machines sold as "servers" do this.  Most others just sit there
waiting for someone to push the power button.
