H700 "Non-Critical" for newly added disks

Can someone please confirm that the reason some disks just purchased
_from_Dell_, and added to an R710 with an H700 RAID card in a RAID1
configuration, are marked as "Non-Critical" in OMSA is due to the fact that
they're not Dell branded (Vendor ID field)?

The reason I ask is that I can't find any other reason for them to be so.
Here's the first virtual disk (disks fitted in the server on purchase):

# omreport storage adisk vdisk=0 controller=0
