# dmesg | grep Memory
Memory: 131958564k/135266304k available (2457k kernel code, 2253348k reserved, 1246k data, 196k init)
# grep Mem /proc/meminfo
MemTotal: 131962124 kB
MemFree: 5651632 kB

So dmesg is showing 125GB available out of 129MB.
/proc/meminfo is showing a total of 125GB.

# omreport chassis memory
... cut
Attributes : Installed Capacity
Memory Array 1 : 131072 MB

So the chassis is reporting 128GB

# free -k
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 131962124 128011236 3950888 0 715880 62539312

Linux is reporting 125GB both at boot and during the running of the OS.

Where has the remaining RAM gone ?

Thanks
Nick .
