PERC 6/i disk cache policy for SAS drives.

Just finishing setting up a new R610 today and noticed this when looking at
the help section in OMSA:

"NOTE: On PERC 5 and PERC 6 controllers, for virtual disks based on SATA
drives, the default Disk Cache Policy is Enabled; for virtual disks based on
SAS drives, it is Disabled."

Why would the default be enabled for SATA and disabled for SAS? Should I
leave it disabled if I am running SAS drives? I'm obviously missing
something here.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.
