Really? I guess it depends on what you're trying to do as always. One
thing I love about XFS/JFS and other non ext fs is that they don't
take years to mkfs.

This is how I create my xfs :

mkfs.xfs -l size=64m

And these are the options I use to mount xfs parts:

noatime,nodiratime,logbufs=8

What about btrfs? I haven't used that yet, does it allow > 16TB FS?
