Hi,

i have set a password and the udp port 161 and 162 are opened too. Other
snmp checks are working fine, only dell snmp checks not!

Configuration looks like this:

http://www.planetmy.com/blog/snmp-error-during-omsa-5x-installation-on-suse-
910/

Looks fine for snmp:

Because it is remote you opened the snmp ports 161, 162 UDP?

Hi,

it is set:

# These really aren't meant for production use. They include all MIBS

# and can use considerable resources. See snmpd.conf(5) for information

# on setting up groups and limiting MIBS.

rocommunity public xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

# rwcommunity mysecret 127.0.0.1

# Allow Systems Management Data Engine SNMP to connect to snmpd using SMUX

smuxpeer .1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10892.1 password

The community name is not required in the snmpd.conf for this snmpwalk?

I only work with traps and trapsinks and not with snmpwalk but in the ./ you
entered - “public” was mentioned which isn’t set as rocommunity in the
snmpd.conf

>rocommunity public
