DRAC5 and Internet Explorer

We had the same issue where all the machines in the IT department bar one couldn't access the remote console in a UK office. We messed around for a while, and figured out that the drac needed to be added to the trusted hosts section, amongst other things.

Ill try to dig out the solution.

BTW dell support were unable to help on this issue. They replaced the DRAC twice thinking it was a hardware issue .....

We have a bunch of 1950s. All of my co-workers, except me, have the same
problem. Each time they want to open remote console IE is crashing with
error message "Buffer overrun detected!" and they are unable to do
anything remotly with our servers. See attached file.

Did anyone had/has the same issue?
Does Dell have any workaround/resolution for this problem?
Is there any alternative for ActiveX-pile-of-shite-plugin?

best regards
