More Perc 3di help needed

So I prepared the slot with the failed drive.

I replaced the drive with an identical good drive.

Every other time I did this, the container started rebuilding automatically
and right away.

So I did a "controller rescan" to rescan the drives.

Now I have an unprotected mirror, and what the controller thinks is a new
drive (see output below).

How can I get the controller/container to recognize the new drive as the
missing member of the mirror?
