Thanks, the set up command ran ok. Now when I run the next command I get:

# wget -q -O - http://linux.dell.com/repo/software/bootstrap-omsa-all.sh
| bash
http://linux.dell.com/yum/software/mirrors-el4.txt
There was a fatal error communicating with the server. The message was:

An HTTP error occurred:
URL: http://linux.dell.com/yum/software/mirrors-el4.txt/headers/header.info
Status Code: 404
Error Message: Not Found

Done!

and when I do yum -y update I get:

# yum -y update
Setting up Update Process
Setting up repositories
Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: dell-software
Error: Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: dell-software

but my repo file looks ok execpt for the commented out base url:

# cat /etc/yum.repos.d/dell.repo
[dell-software]
name=Dell Software
#baseurl=http://linux.dell.com/yum/software/el4
mirrorlist=http://linux.dell.com/yum/software/mirrors-el4.txt
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-dell
       file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-libsmbios

[dell-testing]
name=Dell Testing
baseurl=http://linux.dell.com/yum/testing/el4
enabled=0
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-dell
       file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-libsmbios

so I uncomment it out and rerun it:

# yum -y update
Setting up Update Process
Setting up repositories
base                      100% |=========================| 1.1 kB    00:00

dell-softw: ################################################## 62/62

but again when I run # wget -q -O -
http://linux.dell.com/repo/software/bootstrap-omsa-all.sh | bash i still
get the same error:

# wget -q -O - http://linux.dell.com/repo/software/bootstrap-omsa-all.sh
| bash
http://linux.dell.com/yum/software/mirrors-el4.txt
There was a fatal error communicating with the server. The message was:

An HTTP error occurred:
URL: http://linux.dell.com/yum/software/mirrors-el4.txt/headers/header.info

and as a test:

# wget
http://linux.dell.com/yum/software/mirrors-el4.txt/headers/header.info
--14:17:31--
http://linux.dell.com/yum/software/mirrors-el4.txt/headers/header.info
