No, it means you should write better grep commands... The first line 
(rpc.statd) is listening to port 686 (TCP *:686 (LISTEN)). All the other 
lines matched because the lib responsible had i686 in it's path. If you don't 
use nfs then you can turn rpc.* off with your choice of tool (ntsysv, 
chkconfig, ...).
