Hi Pete,
You're going to need the i386 images.

 x86_64 is for 64-bit x86 machines (e.g. Opterons)
PPC is for Macs or other PowerPC based machines (e.g. IBM pSeries servers?)

Personally I'd go for CentOS over Fedora Core 6, but that's just my opinion.

Subject: How do I know what Linux to use???

Hello All.

We have a Dell PowerEdge 6350 on which we want to run Linux.
The box has 4 Intel 550 MHz processors.
There are 3 different Linux Fedora Core 6 images available.

i386
x86_64
ppc

How do we tell which to use?
What information do I need?
I should apologize for my ignorance, but I've never seen a Dell server before.

Thanks for your help,
Pete.
