The 1425SC has an IPMI-based controller, and the same Linux ipmi
drivers work on it as on the other PowerEdge servers. Current kernels
for RHEL3, RHEL4, SLES9, and of course Fedora, kernel.org, ... all
have "good enough" drivers that work just fine. Then you need
userspace tools, such as ipmitool (in OpenIPMI-tools RPM for Fedora
and RHEL, your distro may vary, and of course it's at
ipmitool.sf.net) to retreive and present the information. There are
IPMI plug-ins for all the various management frameworks (Nagios etc).

Thanks,
Matt
