RHEL4 PE1855 BIOS update fails

I'd try doing "locate libstdc++"

and looking for another libstdc++-libc6*.so.* and go to the location of 
it (probably /lib) and

ln -s libstdc++-libc6.x-x.so.x  libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3

then run ldconfig and try again.

or get out your RHEL cd media and see if it has a libstc++-compat rpm, 
and install that and try
