I have a PV-124T (DLT VS-160 tape drive) connected to a PE 2850 running
RHEL ES 4. I'm using BRU rather than Bacula or Amanda, but I can switch
tapes using mtx.
For 2.6.x kernels, add "options scsi_mod max_luns=4"
to /etc/modprobe.conf, build a new initrd image and reboot. The number
4 is arbitrary, you can use any number > 1.
For 2.4.x kernels, add "options scsi_mod max_scsi_luns=4"
to /etc/modules.conf, build a new initrd image and reboot. Again the
number 4 is arbitrary.
