AW: classic aacraid 'SCSI Hang' and Dell Perc 3/Di

None of both worked for us. We're giving up and developing a migration plan to replace Perc3/Di with some megaraid-based controller (Perc3/Dc?)

Unfortunately, these are not really expensive (~1000€). I even talked to Dell Support and Sales if we could get them for less because of the problems we suffered, but they simply neglect the problem (claiming it would not exist, try RHEL3, ...)

Best regards,

Has anyone actually found a real cause and solution to this problem?

Both the suggestion to disable write caching (temporary fix) and the upgrade to the new flash image to the following have worked for us.
