I have a whole server farm full of 1750's running Mandrake (various versions).
Mandrake 10.0 is very good on these boxes with everything working out of the
box (2.6.3 kernel)

9.2 probably needs you to enable ACPI in lilo.conf in order for HyperThreading
to work. You may also need to disable devfs to get the cdrom to not give you
I/O errors when you try and use it (although this breaks hotplug - not
especially important on a server though).

If you have 2gb of ram, you'll need to use the Mandrake 'enterprise' kernel
(urpmi kernel-enterprise) otherwise it'll only see about 900MB.

Mark.
