Hello,
I wrote an email to this list about a month ago with a problem of my
PV220 attached to a PE2650 with an LSI U320-4X pci card. About every 6 hours
I was getting an abort-reset from the megaraid driver (tested with version
2.00.9, 2.10.1, and 2.10.3). I was unable to get any help from Dell or LSI on
this issue so I gave up and purchased a PERC4/DC card, but the problem is
still happening. I am running RedHat ES 3, Update 1 (2.4.21-9.0.1). I am
running the latest Firmware on the PV220 (E.17), the PE2650 (A17), and latest
on the PERC4/DC (3.41/1.06). Here are the errors I am seeing in
/var/log/messages:

May 18 11:18:22 raid kernel: megaraid: aborting-27768421 cmd=1c <c=4 t=6 l=0>

When I contacted Dell when I had the LSI card they basically told me to go
away (It's not a Dell card, we can't help you). Now I have a Dell Card, and
its still happening. Is anyone else seeing this problem at all? Its happening
more with the LSI card, but less when I slowed the LSI card from 133Mhz, to
100Mhz, to 66Mhz, but it happens more often then with the PERC4/DC card. I
know the last several releases of the PV220's firmware delt with timeout
issues. Does anyone from Dell that monitors this list have any idea's?

	Thanks,
