UPS / non-UPS environmental monitoring

We use the APC standaone units to monitor our server room. We then grab
the data w/ SNMP and put it into MRTG. You could run a script every x
minutes that polls SNMP on the APC unit and issues the appropriate
commands to shutdown if necessary.
