If it is a 2650 or other system that alerts if the bezel is removed it gives
the same alert.

Subject: SNMP trap question

My SNMP manager (What's Up Gold) is catching the following trap every
few days.

20030318 055113 SNMP 10.1.1.41 Trap(enterprises.674.10892.1-6.1252)
enterprises.674.10892.1.5000.10.1.0=db-1.alliednational.com
enterprises.674.10892.1.5000.10.2.0=enterprises.674.10892.1.300.70.1.2.1.2
enterprises.674.10892.1.5000.10.3.0="Chassis intrusion returned to
normal
20030318 055215 SNMP 10.1.1.41 Trap(enterprises.674.10892.1-6.1254)
enterprises.674.10892.1.5000.10.1.0=db-1.alliednational.com
enterprises.674.10892.1.5000.10.2.0=enterprises.674.10892.1.300.70.1.2.1.2
enterprises.674.10892.1.5000.10.3.0="Chassis intrusion detected

I know there is no way the box is being opened at that time. Is this a
flakey switch or could there be a problem with the SNMP daemon?

Thanx!
