What causes problem while "RAMDISK Uncompressing"

Does SuSE 7.2 still use LILO?

Did you fold, spindle or mutilate your initrd in any fashion, or 
otherwise do anything (cp, mv, etc) to it that might cause it to be in a 
different spot on the disk? You may need to re-run LILO to update the 
LILO map.
