tg3 still crashing in latest RH8.0 errata kernel?

Hi all,

I'm running a 4600 w/ 2.5GB ram, built-in bcm5700 gigE, etc with Redhat 8.0.
As one of the people who's new server kept crashing with the tg3 driver, I
was relieved when the latest rh8 errata kernel was released with a supposed
fix for it. After installing and rebooting, I noticed that the bcm5700
module was replaced by tg3 again in my /etc/modules.conf.

Lo and behold, my server starts crashing again, under very light light, every
day and a half or so- exactly the same symptoms as before. So, I replaced
the tg3 driver with the bcm5700 again and voila- no crashes since last
Thursday morning.

Has anyone else tried out the tg3 driver in the latest Redhat 8.0 errata
kernel? Am I barking up the wrong tree? Is there anything that I can do to
debug this while hopefully not letting my server crash every night?

Thanks all,
