That means the 2nd part of the LILO bootloader was loaded but it couldnt be
executed. Usually the consecuence of bad disk geometry settings, or moving
around boot.b and map.

6.2 is too old for me to remember, bou could probabily boot with the
installation cd in rescue mode.. or in another red hat system play with
mkbootdisk (man mkbootdisk) to get a boot disk and then once the system is
up rerun LILO.
Or just use one of the images that are probabily in the cd and dump them to
