Disk problems on 1650...

I have the following problem with my disk:
I've started to see the following messages in
/var/log/messages (shown below), soon afterwords 
the system hang.
After reboot and fsck it came back to life, but only
breafly, pretty soon (15 min.) it hang again.
It seems that the problem is coming back all
the time, even after fsck.

Any ideas what is the problem? Is there is any way 
to fix it without loosing the data?
