eepro1000 driver? Where is it!?

You will need the -ac4 patches for 2.4.19 for e1000 support.

http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/alan/linux-2.4/2.4.19/patch-2.4.19-ac4.gz

It will be included as a native driver in 2.4.20
