Dear All,

 The step to be taken on those cases is to check if first the server are
SCO Certified and if so check the certified configuration data.

 So First check : http://wdb1.sco.com/chwp/owa/hch_search_form

 Naturally I did not find the servers on UnixWare 7.1.1 so I checked
7.1.4.

 Two examples :

	PE1900 with SAS  5/IR  :
http://wdb1.sco.com/chwp/owa/hch_model_cert_page?f_model_id=99030&f_rele
ase_id=600&f_vendor_search_corp_id=
	PE2950 with PERC 5/IR  :
http://wdb1.sco.com/chwp/owa/hch_model_cert_page?f_model_id=99194&f_rele
ase_id=600&f_vendor_search_corp_id=

 Also As previously said the TA126690 is very interesting :

have a look at this. This is the driver to use if you have the standard
sata config. Not the perc 5i.

Dear Sir,

	The following link could be useful :
http://wdb1.sco.com/kb/showta?taid=126690&qid=298749532&sid=2077794861&p
gnum=1
	Article was written for SCO OpenServer 6.0.0 and UnixWare 7.1.4.
	7.1.1 is pretty old, we may have some other hardware issues.

	In fact the PERC 5/I should use the SCO provided megasas driver
(the last release should be 1.1).

	You can find the driver on the ftp.sco.com site.

	NOTE : SCO is not Dell supported Operating system.

Are you sure the 2950 has a PErc 5/i? remember it is an optional. A
client of mine bought a 2950 and I had to use other drivers for the 1068
chipset.

download and install these. Should work.
