Hi Kimie,

You will likely not be able to do a soft reboot on 7.1.1 on any modern 
PowerEdge
system. This issue has been resolved in UnixWare 7.1.4 but this
fix is not available for unsupported operating systems. If you are unable to
upgrade to 7.1.4 and need this to work on 7.1.1, I would suggest contacting
SCO Professional Services at http://sco.com/consulting/ to have this 
functionality
ported to 7.1.1.
