Regarding the Floppy Disk Problem of identifying and mounting on Dell =
PowerEdge 1750 on UnixWare 7.1.1, It's basically the "UnixWare 7.1.1 =
Bootable Disks with the PTF Patch - PTF7619d" which is required (Can be
=
downloaded from ftp://ftp.sco.com/pub/unixware7/ptf7619d/).=20

Firstly, Download these files from the above location=20
ptf7619d.boot1.img -------------> Label this as "Bootable Disk - 1 of 2"
ptf7619d.boot2.img -------------> Label this as "Bootable Disk - 2 of 2"
ptf7619d.supp.img --------------> Label this as "PTF Patch Disk"

Then use "rawrite.exe" to create these 3 disks to Unix format.
(rawrite.exe can be downloaded at http://www.tux.org/pub/dos/rawrite/)

Once you have created these 3 disks using "rawrite", insert the 1st disk
=
and boot the system, then it will prompt for the 2nd disk. After booting
=
from these two disks, after some time (somewhere near the installation =
is completed), it will ask the PTF disk. Then you should insert the PTF
=
disk (the 3rd disk you created) and select the availability of PTF disk.

If you skip the PTF disk availability option, everything else will work,
=
but the floppy drive is NOT identified or neither, you cannot mount the
=
floppy drive.
