Dell USB Keyboard quits or doesn't work at all once SCO loads...

Hi there,

We have a few servers out now, PE830's and PE1800's, that are having the following problems with the Dell USB keyboards that come with them...

1) keyboard quits working when the server has been running for a while... might happen overnight, or in a couple of hours.
-> unplugging and re-plugging it in works about 10% of the time to get it to work again.

2) in some installs once SCO loads and I'm at the login prompt the keyboard won't work at all.
-> that same keyboard will work on any Windows PC I connect it to.
-> any other NON Dell USB keyboard I've tried has worked so far in my testing of this situation on that same server.
-> plug the Dell keyboard in -> nothing... -> plug the generic USB keyboard in -> works, switch back to Dell -> nothing.
-> works fine at the boot: prompt, but not once SCO loads all the way.

I've now seen this on PE830's and PE1800's with SCO 5.0.7 and SCO 6.0.0, both with their latest MP's installed and any USB patches.

Has anyone had this issue or know how I can go about fixing this?

Thanks,
Don.
