dual boot with 2 disks

I recently installed a second SATA disk in a Precision 670, and put  
WIndows on it. I set up the grub stanza as follows


title Windows
	rootnoverify (hd1,0)
	chainloader +1


grub runs and displays the 2 commands but stops at chainloader. The  
second disk has only the one (Windows) partition. Are there  
additional steps I need to take?

For one thing, I could not install Windows on the second disk unless  
I disconnected the first (Linux) disk, the Windows installer would  
just stop after display detecting hardware.
