Thank you,
I have solved using the rescue cd modifying the fstab and mounting the new
logical group volume.
But now I need to increase the swap partition size in the first disk.
How can I modify the swap logical volume from 1.94Gb to 16Gb without
re-install the operative system?
In the first disk I have one logical group volume with 2 logical volumes:
- / root file system
- / swap
Many thanks
Marco
I need also to increase the swap partition size,

You might try using rescue mode with the RHEL 5 media (boot disk 1, type
?rescue? at the boot prompt)

Subject: Modifying fstab file on T7400
I have created a raid disk and now I need to modify the fstab file on
RHWS5 x64 on a precision T7400.
Dell support has problems to help me because they aren?t too skilled on
Linux, even if I have bought 3 years of business support.
Now the system stops during the start-up because it's impossible mount the
old disk configuration.
Entering as root in repair file system I cannot modify the file, all the
files and directory are read-only.
How can I modify and save the read-only file?
Thanks
Marco
