VT-x and VT-d on Dell T7400 Workstation

Hello,

I am new to this public mailing list and noticed a question from Ed
Nadolski regarding VT-x and VT-d. I am sure he already had his question
answered but just wanted to add details regarding where to find the
switches in the BIOS.

VT-x = BIOS Field - Virtualization 
Off Disable Virtualization Technology 
On Enable Virtualization Technology 

Default setting: Off  


VT-d = BIOS Field - VT for Direct I/O 
Off - Disable Virtualization Technology for Direct I/O 
On - On Virtualization Technology for Direct I/O 

Default setting: Off
