I've wanted temperature monitoring for Precision systems for a long
time, so I tried this out. sensors-detect says the T3400 needs the
coretemp kernel module, introduced in 2.6.22. It seems this module
can't be built even on RHEL5.1 without patching the (2.6.18) kernel
(for register_hotcpu_notifier), so sadly it looks like temperature
monitoring for Precisions under RHEL is still some years off.
