Linux Rescue on Red Hat and Dell Precision

Hello,

 

I discovered the Red Hat Enterprise WS 4 disk 1 sent out by Dell with Dell
Precision 390 systems won't rescue a RHEL4 system.

 

The CD as sent by Dell does NOT recognize the hard drive controller.

 

Does anyone know how to get the rescue system to recognize the Intel disk
controller the system uses?

 

Basically, I blew out the MBR / Grub when installing Windows XP Pro x64 on
the system (on a second hard drive).
