Red Hat Network Renewal

I just got my 90 days renewal notice for one of my two copies of RHEL4
(update 6). I got my copies of RHEL with my two Dell Precision 390 systems.
When I went to the Red Hat site to renew, they told me to contact Dell using
a form. Yet to access the form, I need an username and password, which I
don't have. The webpage specifically says it is not my Red Hat Network
username and password (and it isn't). I contacted Dell for this username
and password and they said to contact Red Hat.
I finally heard back from Red Hat saying I need to go through Dell or simply
buy RHEL 4 all over again. Basically, they said wait till your subscription
expires and then contact us or CDW.
The problems I see are:
1) I checked out the CDW website. They have lots of various offerings
from $80 to $10,000+, which is more than both system put together. I'm not
sure which one is specifically for renewing a RHEL WS 4 RHN subscription.
2) I don't want to buy RHEL 4 all over again. When I looked for RHEL
WS on CDW all I found was one for around $300 and it was for the OS and the
subscription. Why buy the OS yet again?
3) I don't understand why Dell isn't willing to help a customer renew
their subscription.
Has anyone any experience in renewing their RHEL RHN subscription they got
originally through Dell?
Bert.
