Fedora Core 5 - Dell Optiplex 745 w/Intel Graphics

Using FC5 with the Dell Optiplex 745 and the onboard Intel graphics
card, we quite frequently get a blue screen of death when X starts up.
After three or four CTRL-ALT-Backspace tries, X will come up normally.

Is this a driver issue?  I've seen it before and put my standard Intel
drivers on the box but it's not helping.

This is an Intel 945???  Graphics chip.
