Sound on Precision T3400

Hi,


I recently got a Precision T3400 with RHEL5 pre-installed. Sound was
definitely working when the machine arrived, but foolishly I didn't
note down the details. :(

Since then I've re-installed the machine with RHEL5 (actually
Scientific Linux 5, but it should make zero difference). Now the sound
does not work.

lspci tells me the sound device is:
  Intel Corporation HD Audio Controller (rev 02)
vendorId: 8086
deviceId: 293e
subVendorId: 1028
subDeviceId: 0214

`modprobe snd-hda-intel', and similar things that worked for a
Precision 690, have basically no effect. There are no audio-related
messages in dmesg.

system-config-soundcard fails to find a module for the device.


Can anyone tell me what driver/options I should use to get sound on
this machine?
