E521 Keyboard key problem

We have the same problem. So far we've tried:
. installing a PCI interface card. (This helped the mouse problem.)
. using a different manufacturer keyboard (Dell -> Sun).
. system-confog-keyboard and specifically chose the Dell keyboard.

No joy. We've resorted to turning the 'key repeat' feature off in
the user environment, which is a royal pain when scrolling through
files or performing multiple deletions.
