I'm not using the dell-nvidia rpm's (I use the unpackaged NVidia
installer) but why don't you just (after the xorg update).:
rpm -e devll-nvidia-XXX.rpm
rpm -ivh devll-nvidia-XXX.rpm
Shouldn't that re-install all of the files to their locations and keep the
needed Mesa files (headers, etc...) at the same time?
