External video does not work with Linux on Precision M65

I've tried installing Various Live Distros (Ubuntu-Edgy, Fedora6, Knoppix, Mandriva) on my Precidion M65 Laptop. With every distro I can't get the external VGA to work.
Does anyone know of a Linux Distro or whatever else should be done to get the external VGA to work?
