Precision M4300 / wifi intel 3945 / success (Bruno Friedmann)

Thanks Roy for this positive feedback.

I'm working with the openSUSE guys, as actually neither ipw3945 nor iwl3945 have success.

The good news is that you have a working solution, this would tend me to exclude a hardware trouble.
To be absolutely sure, I will download the gusty live cd, and see if the wifi module work with it.

I will post here the result, and when it would work on my laptop.
