I don't think so. I discovered that the snd-hda-intel rpm changes the
/etc/modprobe.conf file when it gets installed the first time. Here is
what it looks like now:
alias eth0 tg3
alias scsi_hostadapter ata_piix
alias usb-controller ehci-hcd
alias usb-controller1 uhci-hcd
alias snd-card-0 snd-hda-intel
options snd-card-0 index=0
install snd-hda-intel /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install snd-hda-intel &&
/usr/sbin/alsactl restore >/dev/null 2>&1 || :
remove snd-hda-intel { /usr/sbin/alsactl store >/dev/null 2>&1 || : ; };
/sbin/modprobe -r --ignore-remove snd-hda-intel
(Sorry it wraped)
Anyways, is there something else I could do to check for that possibility?
(That the snd-azx module is being loaded also)
Cheers,
