Hi!

I'm trying to install an ATI graphic driver for my DELL Precision 670.
I'm currently using this configuration:
- DELL Precision 670, Bios revision A07 (flashed under windows 2k)
- ATI FireGL V3100 PCIE (see below for more details)

- Fedora Core 4 (will update to fedora 5 soon)
- Xorg 6.8.2 (see below for my xorg.conf file)
- SMP kernel version 2.6.17-1.2142_FC4smp
- ATI driver version 8.26.18

I'am encountering problems while using the DRI Xorg module (enabled via
xorg.conf): when I enable DRI, X hangs up (an restarts) when I call an
OpenGL depend programs or simply one of the "fgl*" utility (fglxinfo,
fgl_glxgears, etc.).
Note that:
- I'm using RPM packages from the Livna repository:
*kernel-module-fglrx-2.6.17-1.2142_FC4smp-8.26.18-1.lvn4*,
*fglrx_6_8_0-8.25.18-1* and *ati-fglrx-8.26.18-1.lvn4*
- The first time I installed the ATI driver (not SMP kernel
2.6.16-1.2111_FC4), it was working good, but it is impossible for me to
get back to this working configuration (even with a SMP kernel or not
SMP one).
- I've also tryied the ATI binary installer
- After yum finished the RPMs installation, I run the command
    aticonfig --initial
which creates a set of sections in my xorg.conf file.

Does anyone here know if there's something special with my configuration ?
Anything a forgot to do ?

Thank you for any help !
Nicolas.
