dsu inventory sees the HBA at the current version:
# dsu --inventory

Copyright (C) 2014 DELL EMC Proprietary.
Verifying catalog installation ...
Installing catalog from repository ...
Fetching dsucatalog ...
Reading the catalog ...
Verifying inventory collector installation ...
Getting System Inventory ...
warning: Inventory collector returned with partial failure.
...
12. Dell 12Gbps HBA Controller 0 Firmware ( Version : 03.09.00.00 )

dsu update does not find any updatable firmware on an otherwise fully
updated system:

Device: Dell 12Gbps HBA Controller 0
Application: Dell 12Gbps HBA Controller 0 Firmware
  The operation was successful.

Would you like to reboot your system now?
Continue? Y/N:y

(note I noticed that going to the newest does not seem likely judging by
the size difference from the 9.x version to the latest 13.x version so I'm
updating though major versions just to be safe).

Thanks
PJ
