Dear Mike,

Thank you very much for your answer. (Sorry for formatting my pastes as
citations. It’s because otherwise Mozilla Thunderbird will wrap around
the lines.

I don’t have the command `omreport` installed.

A newer firmware version is installed on my system.

```
$ sudo dmidecode -t bios | grep Version
	Version: 2.3.4
```

The version below is used by CentOS.

```
$ more /proc/version
Linux version 3.10.0-514.6.1.el7.x86_64
(builder at kbuilder.dev.centos.org) (gcc version 4.8.5 20150623 (Red Hat
4.8.5-11) (GCC) ) #1 SMP Wed Jan 18 13:06:36 UTC 2017
```

So I guess you also don’t get the ACPI errors below?

```
$ journalctl -k
[…]
support setting the recv irq bit, compensating, but the BMC needs to be
fixed.
Does somebody have an idea? Might this be a regression in the firmware,
or the Linux kernel?
Kind regards,
Paul
