[Linux-PowerEdge] R720 - delayed NIC firmware upgrade on RHEL

Hi,

 

We are using firmware tools on RHEL to manage firmware upgrades. 

On RHEL6 hooked to OMSA Q4 2013 repo, NIC upgrade takes 2-4h to
complete. In previous repos overall firmware upgrade took 30 minutes.

 

BCM NIC firmware level in the repo is 7.8.16
