[Linux-PowerEdge] Building firmware RPMs

Is there a guide for adding firmware RPMs to my mirrored copy of the OMSA repo? I followed the same procedure that I had for the community-supported fw repo, but it isn't picked up with the firmware tools when using the official OMSA repo now.

My reasoning is the need to add BIOS firmware versions — between OMSA releases — that have been released to fix major problems with the versions currently in the OMSA version.

An example is :

Dell Server BIOS PowerEdge R815 Version 3.0.5 (Recommended)

• Criticality: Recommended
• File Name: Multiple File Formats
• Release Date: 2013-04-24
• Manufacturer Version: 3.0.5
• Description: PowerEdge R815 BIOS Version 3.0.5
• Systems: Enterprise Servers R815
• Operating Systems: N/A

Fixes & Enhancements: Taken from support site

Corrected patch for erratum #759 to resolve a potential system stability issue affecting AMD Opteron(TM) 6200 series processors that was introduced in the 3.0.4 BIOS release.
