[Linux-PowerEdge] Missing Disk on SAS 6

I rebooted and all is well since then. Obviously the kernel (this is 
CentOS 5.8) didn't like the volume deletion. I couldn't even reboot from 
it and had to shut it down by power button. So, it works, but is not 
really an option, especially not without physical access to the machine. 
And if you have physical access it's probably more safe to reboot and use 
the LSI config utility, anyway.

Or is there a way to avoid/fix this problem?
